After asking a focus group to listen to our song, with no video or images attached we then asked for their opinions on the general feel of the song
From the feedback we gained from the group, the general feel for the appropriate video was;
Fast paced, quick cuts.
Action, lots of movement.
Manic and at times even confusing.
Dream like, some form of adventure or discovery.
Lots of emphasis on speed and action.
With this knowledge we've tried to angle our editing to suit the ideas of the group. Screening our rough edit gave us some good feedback towards this style, and the next post will display some of this feedback.
